Bonhams UK Director visits London office

Our new London office was the setting for a talk from Bonhams UK Director and auctioneer Charlie Thomas, during which he spoke about some of his favourite sales, including love letters between Jackie Onassis and Lord Harlech.

The event was organised by Daniel Eames, a partner in our Family team. Guests included lawyers from niche family law practices from the London area and private clients and referrers, and the event was also attended by senior Clarke Willmott lawyers from the Agriculture team, which is one of the leading agriculture practices in the UK, and the Private Client, Family, and Financial Litigation teams.

Daniel said: “Charlie Thomas gave an illuminating insight into life at one of the capital’s greatest auction houses at a very interesting and entertaining informal event held for some of our key clients and associates in the capital.

“We were delighted to be able to host them and show our appreciation for their contribution to the continuing growth of Clarke Willmott, and also enjoyed showing them our superb new office at 5 Helen’s Place – near Bishopsgate and the Gherkin.”
