Our solicitors in Bristol

Welcome to Clarke Willmott, Bristol

With views of Bristol Bridge and Castle Park, Bristol is our largest office and we’ve been at home here since 1986. We’re an established part of the community and our central location helps us keep our ear to the ground. Over the years, we’ve made a lot of connections and come to understand the city and the needs of its residents and businesses well.

We have more than 300 staff, including over 40 partners, and our expertise is broad. This means you can choose the legal services you require from our range of commercial and private client specialisms and always know you are in good hands.

Our Bristol office services

We are known by our real estate clients as the go-to property lawyers in the South West and we have leading teams in commercial property, construction, property litigation, planning, and social housing. Our lawyers host regular industry events, including our annual property conference.

Our commercial teams work with SMEs across a range of markets. We have a specialist team that works with start-ups and high growth businesses and we are one of the founding members of Bristol Fintech.

For individuals and families, we offer a full range of private client legal services, including private capital and family law. We have two Court of Protection deputies and provide advice on elderly care, health and social care, and mental capacity and welfare.

Our dedicated personal injury, serious injury and medical negligence solicitors also have a strong presence in Bristol and we have close relationships with the Limbless Association, Headway, Spinal Injuries Association and Meningitis Research Foundation.

Our work in the community

Our current office charity is Duchenne UK. Duchenne UK is a lean, ambitious and highly focused charity with a clear vision: to fund and accelerate treatments and a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), and to do so in a decade.
