Our Taunton office services

Farming is at the heart of business in Somerset and we are the agricultural lawyers for the South West. Our specialist team can provide the full spectrum of legal services you may need if your business or family is rooted in agriculture, including agri-property, agri-business, agri-disputes and agri-private client.

We are based only a few miles from Bridgwater and a cross-disciplinary team of our solicitors is involved in advising local members of the Hinkley Point C supply chain, including construction, corporate and litigation law.

Our nationally renowned team of debt recovery experts is based in Taunton and has clients all over the country. The team is ranked in tier one by The Legal 500 2017.

We have a strong private client practice with our specialist teams in family and divorce law, personal injury, and private capital being top ranked by Chambers UK 2018.

Our work in the community

We enjoy getting involved with our local community and it helps that our staff are an active bunch. We regularly support local organisations, events, initiatives and award ceremonies through sponsorship and participation.

Our chosen office charities for 2018/20 are SAVES and Pancreatic Cancer UK and we have an enthusiastic charity committee that drives fundraising for both. Our biggest events are our golf days and bi-annual charity ball.

One of our favourite local events is Headway Somerset’s annual dragon boat race on the River Tone. We were proud to sponsor the 2018 race and next year, we will be racing for a podium finish!

We are committed to supporting the development of our younger members of staff. Our Next Generation Group hosts a number of events throughout the year to enable young professionals and local businesses to build their network.
