Clarke Willmott has been recognised as a Top Tier firm in the latest Legal 500 guide which ranks the UK’s top lawyers and organisations.

We received prestigious Top Tier rankings for 11 of its specialist practice areas, up one from last year’s results, with a total of 60 recommendations across seven regional offices.

Meanwhile seven of our practice areas have seen improvements with particular congratulations going to two of our Real Estate areas – Commercial Property: Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire, and Property Litigation: South West, together with Sport: South West, on reaching the Top Tier.

The firm also received two new team entries, with HR – Employment: West Midlands and Insurance – Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Claimant: South East being ranked ‘Firms to Watch.’

Our lawyers received a total of 199 individual recommendations, 49 of these being new rankings.

Three lawyers remain ranked in the prestigious Hall of Fame list, Fraser MacRae, Neil Baker and Rich Eldridge.

An impressive 21 lawyers were singled out for praise in the elite ‘Leading Individuals’ list, the Legal 500’s guide to outstanding lawyers nationwide.

A further 14 lawyers were named in the ‘Partner: Next Generation’ and ‘Rising Star’ categories.

Chief Executive, Stephen Rosser, said: “We are delighted with our numerous rankings in the Legal 500 again this year and we’re especially pleased to receive Top Tier rankings in no less than 11 practice areas.

“The Legal 500 directory carries a huge amount of respect in the industry. Rankings are based on the work we have carried out in the past year as well as client feedback which is a great indication of the quality of our work and the services we provide.

“The recognition reflects the time we invest in developing relationships with our clients, our high level of service and the great people we have on board.”

The Legal 500 is an independent guide and firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit.
