A few weeks ago we brought you news that Clarke Willmott had agreed to sponsor a project to help in the training of psychologists and neuropsychologists in Bangladesh.

We are delighted to let you know that the books have now been delivered and are being used by the Clinical Psychologists training in Neuropsychology in Bangladesh.

Dr David Quinn, Neuropsychologist, from Herefordshire, has regularly travelled to Bangladesh to tutor the new generation of Psychologists there, and had approached Clarke Willmott for help. Having received the text books from Clarke Willmott, he was able to take them with him and he is pictured here with the students as they start to use them to help with their studies.

Philip Edwards, a serious injury partner with the firm said:-

“Those of us that represent victims of brain injury in this country know of the great skill and professionalism of the medics and therapists who provide neuropsychological and support and rehabilitation, and yet we can still feel frustrated by geographical gaps in service provision and because of lack of resources. However, the problems we face from time to time are nothing compared to the issues that existed in Bangladesh, and we are delighted to have played a small but tangible part in developing a brain injury care and rehabilitation system in the country”
