Clarke Willmott’s Southampton office ranks highly in 2024 Legal 500
The 2024 Legal 500 results have been announced and once again the Southampton office of national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP have ranked highly with both practice areas and individual lawyers named.
The guide, which ranks the UK’s top lawyers and firms, recommended the Southampton office in seven practice areas including employment; banking and finance; commercial property and environment and planning each receiving either Tier 2 or Tier 3 rankings.
The construction team has also been named in the ‘Firms to Watch’ category.
Clarke Willmott Southampton partner and banking and finance specialist Rich Eldridge, along with three other Clarke Willmott lawyers, is named in the elite ‘Hall of Fame’ list, the Legal 500’s guide to outstanding lawyers nationwide.
Furthermore, the office’s Cathy Harris and Sarah Orchard are noted as ‘Rising Stars’.

Nationally, Clarke Willmott received Top Tier rankings in nine practice areas and recommendations in 46 practice areas. Four Clarke Willmott lawyers are named in the ‘Hall of Fame’, 18 are named as ‘leading individuals’, 9 as ‘next generation’ lawyers and 10 as ‘rising stars’. A total of 119 lawyers are recommended in the guide.
