Clarke Willmott’s Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury team have successfully completed their 10,000 steps a day challenge, raising funds for the Bristol office’s charity of the year, Meningitis Research Foundation in the process.
The team walked a combined distance of 2,169 miles (4,581,905 steps!) during the month of October, the equivalent distance of a return journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats then back to Gretna again. They have raised over £1,000 to date.
Chris Head, Chief Executive of MRF, said: “We are extremely grateful to Clarke Willmott’s Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury team for completing their 10,000 steps a day challenge in aid of our charity. We rely on voluntary donations to fund our vital work into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia. Every penny raised from this event will make a huge difference and enable us to continue our work.”

With plenty of other fundraising events planned, there’s no time for the Clarke Willmott team to put their feet up just yet.
