Emma is a Senior Associate in our first tier Family team specialising in financial arrangements upon divorce, property issues arising from unmarried relationships and is an expert in the complex area of financial provision for children via the courts and the Child Support Agency. Emma’s expertise also extends to asset protection work including prenuptial, post-nuptial or cohabitation agreements.
Emma is highly regarded by her clients who describe her as “patient and focused” having “the perfect blend of objectivity and understanding” and who “understands the detail”.
Emma joined Clarke Willmott LLP in 2007. She is a committee member of the national Resolution Child Support Committee and has written a number of articles for professional journals on the subject. Emma also sits on the committee for Bristol Young Resolution.

Acting for wife in extensive financial remedy proceedings where there were significant and continuous issues of non-disclosure by the husband as to his true wealth. Order for 100% of capital to wife, plus additional lump sum and substantial maintenance.
Defending TLATA property dispute between former cohabitees regarding two jointly owned properties and subsequent variation of trust where the mortgages were paid down very quickly on the basis of assurances those contributions were recognised.
