Our expert team have many years of experience in providing specialist debt recovery services to managing agents, management companies and landlords.
Our services include the recovery of ground rent charges, maintenance and service charges, rent arrears, maintenance fees, relevant insurance charges and utilities charges along with the recovery of relevant administration costs and professional expenses.
What we can do for you
Our knowledge and experience in this area means we are able to settle many cases quickly and pre-litigation.
If this isn’t possible, we will issue county court proceedings and use our in-house legal expertise to advise you on the most appropriate enforcement action if a Judgment remains unpaid.
We have an outstanding record of resolving long-standing disputes and defended cases, and as part of a large, national law firm, we are able to draw on the resources of our property litigation team if required, e.g. if forfeiture action is necessary.
Our success rate
We are very proud of our record in collecting outstanding debts for our managing agent, management company and landlord clients.
We regularly achieve a recovery rate of over 100% of debts, client administration charges and our costs. (Over 100% is possible due to the additional recovery of interest).
Most leases and transfers allow for administration charges, costs and interest to be added to a debt.
So your administration charges, our costs and any Court fees are usually fully recoverable. In fact, unless you cancel your instruction, you’re unlikely to ever be out of pocket. If a defence is received, we will always provide you with a fee estimate before further action. In some circumstances we can offer a fixed fee.
