Buying & Selling Your Home

Residential Conveyancing joins quality scheme

Clarke Willmott LLP’s conveyancing practice has secured membership to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme – the mark of excellence for the home buying and selling process.

The firm completed a rigorous application process which was designed to ensure that we offer our clients the highest standards in residential conveyancing practice. Clarke Willmott’s residential conveyancing team came through this with flying colours and achieved the accreditation earlier this month.

Rod Lloyd-Jones, who has overall responsibility for the scheme, said: “This is excellent news. Membership of this scheme will help us to grow our residential conveyancing practice and it will also improve our chances of being appointed to lender panels, which will lead to further new instructions. In addition, our implementation of this quality standard ensures that our clients receive the highest standards of service.”

The scheme brings with it a number of requirements and conditions that the firm has to meet. Most importantly, only fee-earners who are approved under the scheme can carry out residential conveyancing work. Our approved residential conveyancers must also follow the Law Society Conveyancing Protocol when advising our clients and undertake mandatory training.

This accreditation is further confirmation of the quality of our processes and procedures and that we meet the highest standards of customer service.
