Clarke Willmott announces Cardiff promotion

Clarke Willmott has made a raft of internal promotions as part of its commitment to people development, with a Cardiff lawyer included in the announcement.

Across the firm’s seven regional offices 29 promotions have been made including promotions to associate, senior associate and partner positions.

Charlotte Lord in the commercial property team has been promoted from associate to senior associate in a move which recognises her strong financial record, excellent client service and repeat work or referrals.

Charlotte specialises in secured lending and social housing finance, helping social housing providers and others to obtain funding and providing advice to registered providers and social landlords in connection with borrowing transactions.

New CEO of Clarke Willmott, Peter Swinburn, said: “I’m pleased to announce this year’s internal promotions. As always, this is an opportunity to recognise the strength of talent and diversity we have across the firm. It’s a pleasure to see how those being promoted have already stepped up in readiness for their new roles. Our people sit at the centre of our success and the excellent client service we offer. Ensuring their development is fundamental and part of creating a great people experience. The people we promote have all shown the skills, talent and aptitude vital for us to take advantage of future opportunities.”

Daniel Jones, Clarke Willmott’s director of human resources, said: “I am delighted that of the 29 lawyers promoted nationally, 20 are women. It demonstrates our commitment to building an inclusive and equitable environment where everyone can reach their full potential.”
