National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has been recognised at the highest level in the 2025 Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide.

For the first time the firm has been ranked for its expertise in UK-wide Family and Matrimonial Finance, with an interviewed client saying: “Clarke Willmott has a real strength in depth. I needed to use several departments in what was a complex divorce, and their service throughout was highly bespoke and client-centred.”

Elsewhere in the guide, Clarke Willmott has ranked highly for its private wealth law offering in three regions gaining the top Band 1 position in Somerset, Band 2 in Bristol and surrounds and Band 2 in Manchester and surrounds.

The firm also maintained a Band 3 position for private wealth disputes in the South West region.

The prestigious guide named eight lawyers individually as leading practitioners in their field. Ranked in Band 1 is Taunton partner David Maddock, Manchester partner Paul Davies and Bristol partner Bonita Walters.

Philip Whitcomb receives a Band 2 ranking for the Southampton and surrounds region, as does Taunton partner Tom Chiffers, an improvement on his 2024 Band 3 ranking.

Named as ‘associate to watch’ is Emily Jenkins in the Bristol office and Rebecca Clarke in the Manchester office is listed as ‘star associate’.

Bristol partner Jacqui Lazare makes her first appearance on the guide with a Band 3 ranking for private wealth law.
