National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has added two new lawyers to its leading private client team in Birmingham.

Alexia Haines has been appointed as a partner while Kelsey Wells joins as a solicitor. The double appointment will further strengthen the firm’s offering to individuals, families and trustees across the Midlands.

Joining from DWF, Alexia is an experienced private client solicitor and full member of STEP. She specialises in a broad range of non-contentious private client matters, including estate and trust administration, estate planning, wills, powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications.

Kelsey Wells also joins from DWF and will support Alexia as demand for specialist private client advice continues to grow.

Rayner Grice, head of Clarke Willmott’s Birmingham office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alexia and Kelsey to our office. Alexia’s experience and expertise and Kelsey’s attention-to-detail and pragmatic approach will bolster our, already impressive, private client team and will support our continued growth and development in this area.”

Alexia Haines said: “I am very pleased to be joining Clarke Willmott and becoming part of its private client team in Birmingham. The firm has an excellent reputation and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused advice. I am looking forward to working with colleagues across the firm, building on the team’s existing strengths and helping clients navigate their private wealth and succession planning needs.”
