The South West offices of national law firm Clarke Willmott have once again ranked highly in this year’s Legal 500 guide, with numerous practice areas and individual lawyers being recognised.
Clarke Willmott’s offices in Bristol and Taunton were named in the top tier of the prestigious guide in seven practice areas: contentious trusts, tax and probate; employment; clinical negligence – claimant; professional negligence; debt recovery; property litigation and sport.
The guide, which ranks the UK’s top lawyers and firms, recommended Clarke Willmott’s
Bristol and Taunton offices in a further 17 practice areas.
Across Bristol and Taunton an impressive 14 lawyers were named as ‘Leading Partners’, four were named as ‘Leading Associates’ and a further six were named as ‘Next Generation Partners’. Meanwhile Clarke Willmott South West partner Alex Jakubowski (commercial litigation) was once again named in the elite ‘Hall of Fame’ list.
In total Clarke Willmott was ranked in 51 practice areas across all seven of its regional offices, with a new ranking for Employment – Health and Safety in the South West.
Individually, Clarke Willmott’s lawyers received a total of 131 recommendations, of which seven were improvements from last year and 59 were new recommendations for the 2027 edition – up from 41.
