Debt Recovery team scoop national industry award

Clarke Willmott’s national debt recovery team is celebrating after winning an award at the prestigious CICM British Credit Awards 2022

The team won Legal Provider of the Year for their work in providing legal services to the credit industry. The judges based their decision on evidence of providing the highest quality service and appropriate solutions, contributing to better outcomes for the client.

The firm was named joint winners alongside DWF LLP and judges said the team has ‘a holistic approach to client and customer management which enables Clarke Willmott to deliver strong results’.

Anna O’Reilly, Clarke Willmott’s debt recovery team manager said:

“We are delighted to win this prestigious award from the CICM. The British Credit Awards celebrate the stand-out achievements of the most deserving individuals, teams and organisations in the international credit industry and so we are pleased to be recognised and with such glowing comments from the judges. Having recently gained a CICMQ quality accreditation from the CICM, which brilliantly promotes and upholds standards and integrity within our industry, this award is a further testament to our hard work and dedication to achieving good results for our clients.”

Clarke Willmott  became the first client-servicing solicitor firm to gain a CICMQ quality accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM).

The CICMQ is the credit management industry’s accreditation for Best Practice, providing formal recognition for commitment to quality, continuous improvement and best practice in all things credit. Clarke Willmott is one of only 59 organisations across the UK to be awarded the accreditation by the CICM.

Clarke Willmott’s industry leading debt recovery team has been operating for over 25 years. The team works with organisations of all sizes including commercial businesses, insurance and utility companies and offers services ranging from high-volume, pre-legal debt collection through to every aspect of litigation and insolvency action.
