National law firm Clarke Willmott is continuing to develop its pipeline of young talent in Southampton with the appointment of paralegal Megan Bradbury.

Megan, a graduate of the University of Exeter, has joined the corporate team in Clarke Willmott’s Southampton office, headed by partner Kelvin Balmont.

She is the latest of several young lawyers to join Clarke Willmott in Southampton, following its previous recruitment of Bethany Stone and Georgia Watson from the firm’s summer vacation schemes.

Bethany, who graduated from the University of Southampton, joined the commercial and private client litigation team while Georgia, another University of Exeter graduate, also works in the corporate team.

The summer vacation scheme provides a week-long paid placement, giving aspiring lawyers the chance to work with a team of specialists in a particular area of law and attend workshops aimed at building career development.

Richard Swain, office head at Clarke Willmott in Southampton, said: “Megan is another example of our ongoing investment in the next generation of lawyers, and like Bethany and Georgia, I’m sure she’ll be a great addition to the team.”
