With some parts of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 coming into force today (1 May 2026), the Court Service has updated the following Court forms:

  1. N5 Claim Form for Possession of property located in England
  2. N119 Particulars of Claim for Possession
  3. N5B Claim Form for Possession of a property located in England — accelerated procedure 

All Court forms can be found at the link below:

Any previous versions of the above forms should be deleted and replaced with these newly amended ones immediately and used from today onward. Landlords who fail to use these updated forms risk having their papers returned unissued by the Court, causing delays and requiring the documents to be redrafted and resubmitted.
