Two new commercial property partners at Clarke Willmott

Clarke Willmott has added two new partners to its commercial property team.

Sarah Mogford has joined the firm’s Bristol office while Neil Powell is based in Manchester.

Sarah advises landlords and tenants across a range of sectors on all areas of commercial property law. She regularly acts for UK and US corporate occupiers taking office space, primarily in London, and also for tenants in the retail and hospitality sector across the UK.

Sarah acts for a number of landlords including investment funds and family offices in relation to assets such as office buildings, retail parks and student accommodation and has a wealth of experience drafting and negotiating sale and purchase contracts, leases, core estate management documentation, certificates of title and more bespoke arrangements such as serviced office agreements.

Meanwhile Neil specialises in development, acquisitions and landlord and tenant work. He handles planning promotion agreements for both promotion companies and landowners and the subsequent disposal to national house builders. He also acts for a number of niche house builders in site acquisition work and has extensive experience in the retail sector.

Sarah Mogford said: “The commercial property team has an excellent reputation and a fantastic client base: as a new partner I’m looking to build on these strong foundations and continue to grow the practice, with a particular focus on investment and landlord and tenant work.”

Neil Powell added: “Clarke Willmott is enjoying a dynamic period of growth and development and I’m thrilled to have joined at such an exciting time.”
