National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has achieved top-tier rankings once again in the 2026 edition of the Chambers and Partners Guide.

The firm is ranked in 33 practice areas across its seven regional offices, with four practice areas achieving the top Band 1 ranking in the prestigious guide: Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Family/Matrimonial, Professional Negligence: Mainly Claimant and Real Estate Litigation, all of them based in the South West.

There are improved rankings for Real Estate, Wales and Real Estate Litigation, South West and five new rankings for Clarke Willmott, namely Family/Matrimonial Finance: High Net Worth, London; Family/Matrimonial, North West; Litigation, North West; Agriculture and Rural Affairs, The South; and Court of Protection: Property and Affairs, UK-wide.

Sixty-six Clarke Willmott lawyers were ranked with 73 individual recommendations, including eight Band 1 rankings and an Eminent Practitioner ranking for the firm’s CEO Peter Swinburn. Some 14 of these recommendations were new and six rankings were improved on the 2025 edition.

Meanwhile Gareth Schofield, partner and head of Clarke Willmott’s family team, is named as a Star Individual while a further nine lawyers are listed as an Associate to Watch and two are noted as Up and Coming.
