Ram has more than six years’ experience in employment law, with particular expertise in employment tribunal claims and day-to-day HR advisory work. He advises on contentious and non-contentious matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, TUPE, restrictive covenants, disciplinary and grievance issues, performance management, flexible working, contractual disputes and settlement agreements.
He works with clients across the private, public and third sectors, providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice. Ram is known for explaining complex legal issues in straightforward language and helping clients achieve pragmatic outcomes.
Ram supports SMEs, larger organisations and senior professionals with the full employment lifecycle, from contracts, policies and workplace procedures through to restructuring, disputes and exits. He has advised clients in sectors including education, charities, retail, financial services, construction, agriculture, housing, logistics, leisure, telecommunications and the wider public sector.
He has represented clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and preliminary jurisdictional issues, and has helped secure favourable and commercially advantageous outcomes at an early stage where appropriate. He also advises on the breach and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
