National law firm Clarke Willmott has formed a partnership in Ukraine which will help Ukrainian manufacturers in the war-torn country to export Ukraine-made goods to the UK and EU.
Clarke Willmott has teamed up with distribution business Export Sales & Service (ESS), which is the official representative in Ukraine for Alibaba.com, to help Ukrainian manufacturers effectively enter global export markets and find wholesale buyers or business partners through the world’s largest B2B marketplace.
Ahead of an anticipated ceasefire in the four-year Ukraine conflict, Clarke Willmott has already launched a dedicated Ukraine Desk to support reconstruction efforts there.
The desk, headed by corporate partner Oksana Howard, an English law qualified solicitor who grew up in Ukraine, advises Ukrainian businesses and individuals looking to operate in the UK, providing comprehensive legal assistance across a broad range of legal matters.
