Having delivered client training this week on sexual harassment and respect at work, I can’t help but reflect on some of the recent Employment Tribunal judgments relating to discrimination on the grounds of sex.

With the current drive to get mother’s back into the workplace, and the balancing act that this brings for many, the Employment Tribunal case of Gibbins v Cardiff & Vale University Local Health Board highlighted the importance of employers providing appropriate support and facilities for a breastfeeding employee, which could have alleviated her feeling vulnerable, degraded and concerned for her safety.

In our interactive client training sessions we educate our clients on legal rights, duties and obligations. But, importantly, we take time to understand every client’s business and to explore and offer practical suggestions on how to ensure they provide the best working experience for all employees. This in turn generates and facilitates the positive workplace culture that retains and attracts top talent.

Please reach out if you would be interested in finding out about the extensive list of Employment training sessions that we offer.
