International Brain Tumour Awareness Week 2022

Proud supporters of the International Brain Tumour Awareness WeekThe 29 Oct – 5 Nov 2022 is International Brain Tumour Awareness Week. Our team of specialist Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence solicitors welcome an opportunity to raise awareness of the particular challenges of living with a brain tumour and the need for continued and increased research.

The awareness week is organised by the International Brain Tumour Alliance who bring together experience and expertise from all over the world with the aim of enhancing the lives of brain tumour patients and their families.

Here at Clarke Willmott, we are proud supporters of the Brain Tumour Support Charity in the UK. They do fantastic work to support patients, carers and families who have been affected by a brain tumour diagnosis. The charity provides crucial support to some of our clients who have a delayed diagnosis or other concerns about the treatment of brain cancer. They make a direct impact with their support workers as well as offering advice via their helpline and support groups all over the UK. Have a look at some of the stories on their website.

One of the successes of this charity is to let people know they are not alone in dealing with a brain tumour diagnosis. This is essential for coping with the challenges of a brain tumour diagnosis and reaching out for support. This message will be prevalent this week with the links being made between similar organisations across the globe. Activities will be taking place to highlight the fantastic work done by organisations around the world and to highlight the need for further research and funding.
