The festive time of year is again upon us and in what is now tradition, CW staff have given generously to help children in the Bristol locality have a Merry Christmas.
For the fourth year running CW has been involved with the Under Privileged Children Charity (UPCC) and donated presents for children in need. The charity helps children within a radius of twenty five miles from Bristol, who are in some way suffering hardship, and helps inject some Christmas cheer.
Since UPCC’s formation thousands of children in the Bristol Area have benefitted from the Charity and year on year staff from Bristol donate presents for the charity to distribute. Peter Moore, Chairman: “With services being cut our assistance is even more vital”.
CW’s organiser Anna-Liisa Walden, Construction: “This remains a popular initiative for staff who can really get involved at a local level and with the donation of a wide variety of presents. With many taking the time to reflect, during ongoing times of austerity on their own relative good fortunes, this is an opportunity to give back and support the excellent work UPCC does. In short, CW are a generous bunch who enjoy giving to a worthy cause”.
