Emily is a Senior Associate Solicitor in Clarke Willmott’s Housing Management team in London, with over a decade of experience in the social housing sector. She advises social landlords and local authorities on all areas of housing management, including possession, injunctions, disrepair, succession, tenancy fraud, and policy and procedure development.
Having qualified as a Solicitor in 2019, Emily brings a strong foundation of legal expertise supported by years of prior legal experience and a proven commitment to client service.. Since joining Clarke Willmott in 2021, she has built a strong reputation for combining legal expertise with a flair for leadership, knowledge sharing, and strategic business development. As co-head of business development for Clarke Willmott’s London office, Emily plays a key role in driving client engagement and growth initiatives across the firm.
She regularly provides bespoke training and legal surgeries – both in person and remotely -and delivers clear, practical legal updates tailored to non-legal audiences. She is also a frequent court advocate and recently had an article published in Local Government Lawyer, alongside regularly sharing sector updates and practical guidance. Emily continues to lead on key training and thought leadership initiatives across the housing management sector.
Emily is an active committee member of the Social Housing Law Association (SHLA) and continues to serve as President of the Hastings & District Law Society. She plays a pivotal role in the society’s restructure and relaunch, having served for several years.
