Chelsea’s day-to-day work consists of advising employers, contractors, funds, purchasers, and sellers.
Chelsea also has co-counsel experience, providing specialist construction support to external legal teams on a number of high-value, high-profile, complex asset-based transactions both in the UK and internationally. She is well-versed in both bespoke and standard form construction contracts, including the JCT and NEC forms, and in particular has extensive experience in advising a large international retailer on undertaking a wide portfolio of construction projects in the UK.
Chelsea has also recently completed a Secondment with one of Clarke Willmott’s social housing clients where she supported the construction team on a broad portfolio of multi-million-pound disputes arising from building safety and fire-risk defects post Grenfell and the introduction of the Building Safety Act.
