Family Matters: personal injury claims, the role of the family and how family law impacts

Event details

The expert Personal Injury and Family Law teams at Clarke Willmott  invite you to attend their seminar on Tuesday 28 November at 12:00pm.

Philip Edwards, one of our serious injury claim experts, will talk about the role of the family in litigation when a loved one sustains a life changing injury. He will explore what roles family members might have in the litigation, their duties and obligations and whether they have any claims that they can bring in their own right.

Adam Maguire, a family law expert in our Birmingham office, will be considering what options there are for injured people in being protected financially in the event of a relationship breakdown or when contemplating a new relationship. Where damages have been awarded for injuries, sometimes designed to provide for life long needs, doing the best to protect those finances can be essential for injured people.

The seminar will be invaluable to those professionals who support injured people and their families through rehabilitation and beyond, whether therapeutically or financially, in helping their clients make decisions about the right advice to seek.
