Family Law Webinar
How to help our clients minimise the negative impact of their family law disputes and avoid prolonged contact
Clarke Willmott LLP is delighted to invite you to its Family Law webinar which is taking place on Thursday 25 April 2024 at 12:00pm.
As professionals we all want to do what is in the best interests of our clients. Naturally, that will look very different from individual to individual. However, there are common interests which will be relevant to most, if not all. Avoiding prolonged conflict and saving on substantial legal bills will be amongst them.
In this webinar Clare Webb, Partner in our Bristol Family team and Collaborative Lawyer, will be looking at various non-court dispute resolution ways to assist our clients doing just this.
Incoming changes to the Family Procedure Rules from April 2024 will place even greater emphasis on such alternative processes. Furthermore, if in proceedings the court can adjourn hearings to encourage the parties to pursue non court dispute resolution processes with potential cost consequences for non-engagement. So, it is as pertinent now as it ever has been to try and think outside of the box for our clients in how we help them address their issues.
Clare will be joined by a panel of speakers who are experts in their field in assisting clients resolve disputes in a variety of ways:
- Philippa Yeo – Partner and Head of our Taunton Family team and qualified Mediator
- Zoe Saunders – Recorder, Deputy District Judge, Head of Divorce & Financial Remedy at St John’s Chambers Bristol and CIArb/IFLA qualified Arbitrator
- Sandra Leighton-Carey – Independent Social Worker, Expert Witness and Child Specialist
Please join us for what will be an informative session discussing the various options available to our clients to benefit themselves and their families.
