National law firm Clarke Willmott has been named as a supplier on four key elements of a national public sector purchasing and procurement framework.
Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) RM6374 Legal Panel for Public Sector Framework provides public sector organisations across England and Wales with a compliant and efficient route to procure legal services, enabling buyers to access specialist expertise while delivering value for money and reducing procurement complexity.
Clarke Willmott has been awarded places on four key framework lots:
- Lot 1a – Full Legal Service Provision for all Public Sector
- Lot 1b – Full Legal Service Provision for Local Government and Local Communities (including Housing and Charity sectors)
- Lot 2 – Focused Legal Support
- Lot 3 – Litigation and Disputes
As a named supplier, Clarke Willmott can provide a broad range of legal services to government departments, local authorities, housing providers, charities, education bodies, healthcare organisations and other public sector entities.
The firm’s appointment reflects its long-standing commitment to supporting public sector clients through a multidisciplinary team of lawyers with expertise across governance, commercial projects, real estate, employment, construction, procurement, litigation, housing and regulatory matters.
The appointment builds on Clarke Willmott’s extensive experience advising public sector organisations and their partners. It has also been appointed to the Welsh Government Framework, London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) and all lots on the CHIC Framework, as well as many other local authorities.
Clarke Willmott partners Laurence Lacey and Michelle Spark, who will lead the firm’s relationship with the framework, have more than 40 years of combined experience advising public sector clients and are recognised by independent legal directories for their expertise.
“We are delighted to have been appointed to GCA’s RM6374 Legal Panel for Public Sector Framework across four lots,” says Laurence Lacey, who is Framework Relationship Partner at Clarke Willmott.
“This appointment reflects the breadth and depth of expertise we offer and our strong track record of supporting public sector organisations.
“We look forward to building new relationships through the framework and continuing to deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice that supports clients’ strategic objectives and delivers value for the public sector.”
Public sector organisations can access Clarke Willmott’s services directly through GCA’s digital marketplace and procurement tool.
