Dean supports the corporate team on a broad range of transactions in a variety of sectors.
Dean qualified as a solicitor in March 2022 and joined Clarke Willmott’s corporate team in August 2025 having previously worked at a Portsmouth-based firm in their corporate and commercial team. He graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a first class honours and then undertook his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford achieving a distinction.
Dean has a wealth of experience in M&A transactions, acting for both buyer and seller, share buybacks and share capital reductions and general corporate advisory work.
In addition to his professional practice, Dean remains actively involved with the University of Portsmouth where he supports their legal advice clinic and mentors two students per academic year. He assists them with their legal studies, guides them through training contract applications, conducts CV reviews and provides general career advice.

- Lead multiple acquisitions in the from of both share purchase and asset purchase for a client specialising in delivering on site energy and battery storage systems globally.
- Coordinated the preparation of the UK aspects of a vendor due diligence report for a Dutch law firm relating to an auction sale of the Dutch company who had three UK subsidiary companies.
- Supported on the disposal of Hawco Ltd, an international distributor and national wholesaler of specialist components and commercial refrigeration systems, which supports a diverse range of global manufacturers to a buyer backed by Bay Tree Private Equity LLP.
