Well done to Georgia Harding for completing her trek of the Himalayas

Georgia Harding, Business Development and Marketing Executive in the Southampton office, has completed a four-day trek through the Indian Himalayas to raise money for Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity (CMHC), the Southampton office charity.

Georgia Harding, with help from the Southampton office, raised over £3500 of the teams £28,000 total sponsorship for the trek.

The team trekked through leech covered jungle floors, 36 degree heat and encountered snakes during the day, before sleeping in tents overnight when the temperature dropped to freezing.

The trip, organised by the hospice charity, also included a two-day project where Georgia and the other participants helped at CanKids, a non-profit project in Delhi which supports local children and their families who are living with cancer.

Georgia says: “It was a fantastic trip and the views at the top of the mountain were worth the four day trek.
