We are growing our Corporate team and seeking someone to join us in our Taunton office (albeit the role is fully flexible). Taunton is the firm’s second biggest office and the corporate team therein has been involved in some of the largest transactions. You will be handling a broad range of mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance transactions, whilst benefitting from excellent support and opportunities to develop your expertise.
Our national Corporate & Commercial team has a presence in our Taunton, Southampton, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and Manchester offices.

Most of our people choose to work in a hybrid fashion, working from home and attending our offices on occasion. Our offices are in Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton, and Taunton.
Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:
You will be working with colleagues locally and nationally for a wide range of clients including public and private UK and international companies and their owners in relation to M&A, equity and debt funding and general corporate structuring work. As a national corporate practice there is a good level of interaction and team working between our offices providing additional opportunities to develop your skills and experience.
The range and quality of our caseload makes it an exceptional base to develop your career in corporate law.
If you choose to, there will be ample opportunity to take an active involvement in business development activities, building client relationships and helping to grow our already well-regarded practice.
This role is right for you if:
We will be looking for consistent academic achievement albeit interpersonal skills will be equally as important. You’ll also need to show us that you have initiative, drive and great organisational skills. The work requires self-motivation, resilience and strong communication skills, both written and oral.
You will relish helping others and be eager to learn.
You will be a genuine team player, looking to support others and share ideas and opportunities for the benefit of the team as a whole, enjoying and benefitting from the resulting success along with your colleagues.
