Sonal is a solicitor in the insolvency team representing Trustees in bankruptcy and liquidation proceedings, and specialising in actions against directors by lifting the corporate veil and finding them personally liable.
Sonal’s expertise includes advising The Insolvency Service, Insolvency Practitioners, and Creditors on claims under the Insolvency Act 1986 and the Companies Act 2006. This includes actions of breach of fiduciary duties, misfeasance, and wrongful and fraudulent trading. Sonal also advises on antecedent transactions such as transactions at undervalue, preferences, and transactions defrauding creditors.
Sonal joined Clarke Willmott in September 2014 after working at a litigation practice in the City of London.
