Roy is a Partner in the Intellectual Property team and has many years of experience in advising brands in relation to protecting, exploiting and enforcing their intellectual property rights. Roy’s clients include Fred Perry, Jemella (ghd), Deckers (UGG, amongst other brands) and Playboy.

Roy’s experience covers all aspects of both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law, having acted for many of the world’s best known brands in relation to both domestic and international disputes. He has particular experience in relation to anti-counterfeiting.

Roy formerly trained at and practised in the London office of global law firm Baker & McKenzie and has a diploma in Intellectual Property Law & Practice from the University of Bristol. Roy joined Clarke Willmott in 2010.
