Experience

  • Settled a case recovering a £1.75m lump sum plus annual payments of £200,000 for life for a client who suffered a severe brain and spinal cord injury.
  • Recently recovered a lump sum of £1.4m plus annual payments of up to £100,000 for life for a client who suffered a stroke as a consequence of hospital negligence.
  • Pursued a claim for the widow of a member of the services who was fatally injured when knocked from his motorcycle by a car. The driver of the car had denied any responsibility for causing the collision and his insurers refused to settle the claim.   Lee obtained the evidence to prove that the driver was blameworthy, where none was thought to exist.
  • Has been instructed in relation the road traffic collision on the M5 motorway near Taunton in November 2011 in which over 30 vehicles were involved and seven people tragically lost their lives.
