Esther is a Partner in the Commercial and Private Client Litigation team specialising in agricultural and property litigation as well as commercial disputes and contentious probate matters. Esther’s expertise includes working with agricultural clients, private clients and local businesses.
Esther joined Clarke Willmott in 2013 after working at Burges Salmon in Bristol, having trained and qualified at city firm, Linklaters in 2005.
- Advising in relation to agricultural tenancies under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and progressing ‘special case’ notices for landlords and tenants alike.
- Advising in relation to adverse possession claims, prescriptive rights and access way disputes.
- Advising in relation to contested probate matters including advising in relation to Will challenges.
- Representing successful Claimant in farming partnership dispute (Drake v Harvey, Court of Appeal – Civil Division, 20 July 2011).
