Claire is a client focused litigator and advises private individuals as well as executors and trustees on all areas of private client litigation including contentious probate and professional negligence.
She advises on the validity of wills and whether a family member is entitled to a share of the estate despite being excluded from the Will. She also assists clients in bringing professional negligence claims for negligent drafting of wills and incompetent administrations of estates. She also has experience in removing executors and attorneys for misconduct.
Claire is thorough and tenacious and has proved to be a successful negotiator and competent advocate. She has extensive experience in both settling disputes outside of the court room and taking cases all the way through the legal process to the final court hearing. She is very aware of and sensitive to the stress clients’ often experience in these claims and helps focus on achieving, wherever possible, the most cost-effective resolution.
