|1 October||National minimum wage increases to £6.08 per hour for the standard adult rate, £4.98 for those aged 18-20, £3.68 for those aged 16-17 and £2.60 for apprentices|
|1 October||Transnational Information and Consultation of Employees (Amendment) Regulations 2010 due to come into force|
