Victoria is a Solicitor within the Housing Management team, based in Clarke Willmott’s London office.
Victoria joined Clarke Willmott in 2017 after completing her training and working within the Housing Management team at specialist housing firm, Glazer Delmar.
Victoria has advised and represented social housing landlords in a wide range of matters to include access injunctions, anti-social behaviour injunctions, committal proceedings, disrepair claims and forfeiture proceedings. Victoria has also represented social housing landlords within claims for possession brought on grounds of rent arrears, subletting, non-occupation, anti-social behaviour, hoarding and trespass.
Victoria has attended the County Court to conduct advocacy within anti-social behaviour, committal and possession proceedings. Victoria has also attended client offices to deliver training on a range of topics.
Injunction – Represented a Housing Association within without notice injunction proceedings. Injunction order was granted with power of arrest which included a clause excluding the Defendant from entering an area surrounding the Housing Association’s offices. The exclusion was granted to protect the Housing Associations’ employees.
Advocacy- Attended the County Court to conduct advocacy within without notice injunction proceedings. A without notice injunction order with power of arrest was granted which the Defendant subsequently breached. Later, attended the County Court to conduct advocacy within the committal proceedings.
Possession- Advised on and secured a possession order against a trespasser claiming to have a right of succession to a deceased family member’s tenancy. Upon gathering robust evidence, the court was convinced that the Defendant had not resided as the property for the required period of one year prior to the tenant’s death.
