Paul is a Partner in the Private Property and Agriculture team specialising in non-contentious agricultural and rural property law, including sales and purchases of farms, residential property and rural commercial property, agricultural and commercial leases (acting for both tenants and landlords) and estate management matters such as the variation of covenants and the grant of easements.
Paul joined Clarke Willmott in 2009 after working as an agricultural property solicitor in Cambridge.
Agricultural conveyancing; Paul has acted for various farming clients in the sale and purchase of working farms and agricultural land, including dealing with the transfer of entitlements and environmental schemes and the imposition of clawback.
Renewable energy; Paul acts for landowners relating to the grant of options and lease re solar farm developments and has acted for landowners in relation to the sale of wind farms.
Landlord and Tenant; Paul acts for large and small landowners (both as landlord and tenant) in relation to agricultural tenancies and commercial property in rural areas.
Estate management; Paul acts for institutional clients in relation to estate management issues such as the variation of restrictive covenants, the grant of easements and telecommunication leases.
