Moema Rosa is a solicitor in the insolvency team specialising in contentious matters, in both areas of bankruptcy and corporate insolvency.
Moema’s expertise includes working with The Insolvency Service and Insolvency Practitioners in relation to claims under the Insolvency Act 1986 and Companies Act 2006. In particular, Moema specialises in claims under section 423 of the Insolvency Act 1986 (Transactions defrauding creditors), foreign and UK assets recovery in bankruptcy claims and claims against directors for breach of duty and/or misfeasance. Moema also advises on antecedent transactions, including transactions at an undervalue and preferences.
Moema has previous experience in financial services and insurance claims.
Moema joined Clarke Willmott in 2013 after working at DWF LLP and studying at BPP University in Bristol.
