Imogen is a Consultant in Clarke Willmott’s Taunton Private Capital team specialising in all private client matters.
Imogen is a Chartered Tax Advisor and joined the firm in 2018. Prior to joining Clarke Willmott, she spent eight years at the national financial and professional services firm, Smith & Williamson, where she was appointed a partner in the Private Client team in 2014.
Imogen’s work includes later life & succession planning; capital gains tax advice and compliance including advising on reliefs such as entrepreneurs’ relief; residence and domicile issues; and property matters.
Imogen is also a trustee of The Roman Baths and The Bristol Museums and Art Gallery.
Advising individuals on the sale of a £30 million business which involved capital gains tax disclosures/planning and later life/succession planning including trust and will planning.
Advising a foreign national in relation to a possible move to the UK.
Advising a client about setting up a consultancy business including whether self-employment or a company more appropriate and reporting requirements.
Advising non-resident landlords in relation to the proposed sale of UK property.
