During this session we will be joined by Jacqui Lazare and Tom Chiffers from our Private Capital team and we will hear about the following:

•  Jacqui will look at tax effective giving opportunities for philanthropists. In particular, Jacqui will take you through the range of options available to high-net worth, philanthropic business owners who are looking to exit their business and ensure that all the available reliefs can be maximised and any exit structured appropriately – benefitting both the donor and the charity.
• Tom will address how charities can be used in wills. He will compare the creation of charitable trusts with charitable gifts, the reduced rate of inheritance tax available when your will includes gifts to charities and finally, the importance of charities in will trusts.
