We are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor specialising in investment work, to join our reputable team in Taunton.
Our commercial property team in Taunton comprises part of a much wider (28 partner) team across all our offices. Our investment lawyers work for a multitude of real estate investors across the full spectrum of real estate asset classes. We have breadth of experience in dealing with the transactional documentation together with negotiating the financial features of a deal. This experience, combined with our knowledge of the investment market across the UK, enables us to provide excellent value and service to our real estate domestic and international investor clients.

Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:
This role will develop your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and varied work, working alongside highly respected senior practitioners. As an expanding team, there are real opportunities for career development as you gain expertise and build your wider skill set.
Working closely with the team, you will assist them on a range of commercial property matters. Among a broad diet of work you will be involved in asset sales and purchases, secured lending work on behalf of a range of lender clients, and landlord and tenant issues for investment property companies.
We will support and encourage you to get involved in business development activities and become embedded into your client sectors.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
This role is right for you if:
You will be a qualified Solicitor with some post-qualification experience with a leading property practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career and enjoy a challenge within a large and continually growing, fast paced team.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong intellect, evidenced with a high level of technical experience, and be someone who shows initiative, drive and excellent client management skills. Ideally, you will have experience working within the investment field but this is not essential if you are diligent and commercially-minded.
We expect you to be a genuine team player and a great communicator, who enjoys working alongside others. You must be commercially minded, and willing to take advantage of the fantastic opportunities for career development within this team.
