Senior Associate – Social Housing Governance
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Housing Governance lawyer to join our national team.
Role: Social Housing Governance Senior Associate
Hours: Full time

Forming part of the Corporate & Commercial department, your work will be solely with our Social Housing clients and will see you focusing on governance and regulatory matters. This role will be particularly focused on advising on the following areas:
- Governance and Regulation of RP’s (including regulatory compliance);
- Board member powers and responsibilities, advice on board representation and decision making processes;
- Charity Law and policy;
- Changes and interpretation of the Rules; and
- Advice on corporate governance structures.
Our national Social Housing team is one of the largest of its kind in the UK delivering services across England and Wales.

It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
This role is a stand alone role and therefore you will need to be comfortable working on your own but with guidance from both the Corporate & Commercial team and the Social Housing team. You will have experience of working with registered Social Housing providers with a minimum of 5 years PQE and demonstrate experience of advising in relation to governance and regulatory matters.
We are looking for someone who can make an immediate impact and can hit the ground running. You’ll need to show us that you have initiative, drive and great organisational skills. The work requires self-motivation, resilience and strong communication skills, both written and oral.
