Paralegal – Commercial Litigation – Bristol
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Paralegal to support our well-regarded Commercial Litigation team in Bristol.

Our Bristol Commercial Litigation team is led by Partners Alex Jakubowski and Richard Moore, further supported by two Senior Associates, an Associate and a Solicitor. Consistently ranked highly in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, our team have considerable experience in resolving disputes across a wide range of industries and sectors.
In this newly created position, you will be providing a crucial support function to our fast-paced team. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Opening client files following firm procedures
- Maintaining files on a day-to-day basis and ensuring all electronic copies of emails and any documents are filed correctly within FileSite
- Client care; handling enquiries and written correspondence
- Archiving, filing and closing files
- Updating databases and spreadsheets
- Document production using Microsoft Office packages
- Assisting the team during busy periods, undertaking ad hoc tasks
This is a busy role, with deadlines to manage and competing priorities, so you will be required to work quickly, accurately and efficiently, whilst remaining calm under pressure. You will be expected to think ahead to meet the needs of your fee earners and clients.
This role will allow you to work flexibly, splitting your week between your home working environment and one of our offices.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
You will be able to demonstrate real potential, with the talent, ambition and interest to succeed in a career within this field. As a law or GDL graduate, you will already have a good technical grounding in the law with a keen interest in litigation work.
You may also have some experience as a paralegal, with any litigation experience being advantageous. Whatever your experience, you will need excellent academics and strong communication skills to be considered.
The work requires self-motivation and the ability to work to demanding deadlines, so you’ll need to show us that you have initiative, drive and great organisational skills.

We expect you to be someone who takes pride in your work and who will provide a first class support service to your fee earners, anticipating their needs in advance wherever possible, and paying meticulous attention to detail in all of your work.
