Solicitor – Insolvency – London
We are seeking a Solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE) to progress their career working within our friendly, forward thinking and close-knit insolvency team working in the heart of London, for nationwide clients.

Our national Insolvency team is led by six Partners and has presence in our Manchester, Southampton, London, Bristol and Birmingham offices.
You will enjoy access to a wide variety of Insolvency work, managing your own caseload from inception to conclusion, exercising professional judgement with regard to established Clarke Willmott case management system and client protocols.
You will have plenty of one-on-one support, guidance and supervision, whilst taking responsibility for your own files and gaining confidence in your own individual style. This role is a great opportunity for you to gain experience in both personal and corporate insolvency. The department has a heavy emphasis on contentious work pursuing claims on behalf of office holders against directors and others to recover assets for the benefit of creditors.
This role would be able to offer the flexibility of home working, should you want to work away from the London office for part of the week.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone who can make an immediate impact. The role would be well suited to an ambitious Solicitor who has gain up to three years of post-qualification experience who is looking to progress their career within insolvency and restructuring within a supportive firm. You will have already gained solid experience in this field and will be able to demonstrate that you are capable of working independently on a variety of insolvency matters. You will also be able to show that you have some good contacts in the market and will be given the platform to build on and develop those.
You’ll need a strong intellect to succeed in this role, so we will be looking for a corresponding level of consistent academic achievement. You’ll also need to show us that you have initiative, drive and great organisational skills. The work requires self-motivation, resilience and strong communication skills, both written and oral.
You will relish helping others and be eager to learn. We expect you to be someone who takes pride in your work and who will provide a first-class service to our clients, anticipating their needs in advance wherever possible, and paying meticulous attention to detail in all of your work.
We are looking for someone with strong business development skills, with the confidence and drive to initiate new business contacts and nurture current client relationships through lots of one-to-one contact and networking.
Finally, legal practice is about people and this is very much a team orientated role.
