Family Lawyer – South West
We are seeking a Family Lawyer to join our reputable team in the South West, handling a varied caseload of high-quality work.
Role: Family Lawyer
Location: South West
Hours: Full Time
Vacancy Reference: 759-LTN
Spanning our Taunton, Bristol, Birmingham, Southampton and Manchester offices, our well-regarded Family team is growing. Led by 6 Partners nationally, you will be working on highly complex cases, benefitting from the support of our wider team. Ranked Tier 1 in the South West by the Legal 500, our team is well-equipped to develop and progress your career.
You will have experience of handling high quality family law matters to include both privately funded financial remedy work, private children law and cohabitation disputes. Our client base comprises professional clients, high net worth individuals, those with business interests and those in the sports and agricultural sectors.
This is an opportunity for the right candidate to progress their legal career within our highly regarded, friendly and progressive family team.
This role would be supporting our Taunton team so occasional office attendance will be required, with the remaining time allowing you to work from your own office environment.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
You will be a well-established Lawyer with experience from a leading firm. As our team is growing, we are very open-minded what level Lawyer joins our team and can tailor the role around your level of experience. Ideally, you will have at least two years of post-qualification experience through to all levels for those looking to join Clarke Willmott.
You will need to be technically excellent but equally, commercially aware. You will need to be a team player with a client focussed approach and a keenness to become involved in business development activities within the team as a whole, having begun to build up strong local professional connections.
You will have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
You will be someone who likes to be proactive, and who is flexible working both individually and as part of a team, with minimal supervision, able to manage a number of different cases and clients effectively.
Communication will be one of your strong points, both written and oral, and you will be enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality service to our clients.
We expect you to be able to use your initiative, and be a forward-planner, anticipating our clients’ needs in advance wherever possible.
