We are looking for someone to become part of our highly successful property litigation team based in our Bristol office with an interest in or experience of the Water Industry.

The role

We are one of the largest property litigation teams in the UK and are consistently ranked highly by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. Our experienced and well-regarded team represent clients such as Persimmon Homes, Burger King and Bristol Water plc as well as private individuals and charities.

This role will see you providing crucial support to a Partner, acting for a recognisable commercial client.

You will be responsible for:

• Landlord and tenant work (rent reviews, dilapidations, lease renewals, service charge disputes etc)
• Building and development
• Land acquisitions
• Strategic options
• Possession actions
• Purchaser claims
• Trespass and squatter actions
• Leasehold enfranchisement
• Utilities/statutory water undertaker work

It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate within a continually growing fast paced team. If you are a qualified solicitor with up to 7 years’ experience of property work, then we would like to hear from you.

We look for lawyers with a strong intellect, which we expect to be evidenced with a high level of academic achievement, and someone who shows initiative, drive, excellent organisation skills and a practical, objective-driven, commercial approach to problem-solving.

We expect you to be a genuine team player with a client-focussed approach and a keenness to become involved in business development activities within the team as a whole, having begun to build up strong local professional connections.
