Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:
You will be the face of our Manchester office, creating a fantastic first impression of Clarke Willmott to your colleagues and our external clients. Your role is to manage and maintain a compliant working environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
- On a day to day basis you will be responsible for managing the delivery of the front of house services, reprographics requests and office infrastructure.
- This will include but not limited to.
- Managing meeting room booking requests including refreshments and travel/accommodation.
- Completing reprographics request in line with the business SLA and SOPs.
- Managing the day to day mail (inbound and outbound), including courier bookings
- Office compliance with the business’s ISO27001 & ISO14001 accreditation requirements through regular auditing.
- Office maintenance and document management (liaising with contractors, landlord’s agent and suppliers)
- Managing, leading and coaching team personnel through ‘on the job’ training, performance reviews and 1-2-1 meetings
- Finance management, through budgeting, PO request and cost saving where applicable, including maintaining relevant systems
- Health & safety inspections and staff inductions
- Managing stationery and IT inventory
- Ad hoc requests, including support facilities teams across the business portfolio.
This full time position will be asked to work on a rota basis 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm (7.5 hours per day).
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

You will be proactive and flexible in working on an individual basis, as well as being an excellent team player who is able to work with minimal supervision and prioritise a wide variety of tasks effectively.
You will be someone who flourishes when working under pressure, remaining calm and unflustered, effectively coordinating a busy workload and managing others’ expectations accordingly.
Communication will be one of your strong points, both written and verbal, and you will have a can-do attitude, enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality service to your colleagues and our clients.
We expect you to be able to use your initiative, and be a forward-planner, anticipating your colleagues’ and (where necessary) our clients’ needs in advance wherever possible.
This is a busy role, with deadlines to manage and competing priorities that are subject to change at a moment’s notice, so you will be someone who enjoys working in this type of office environment.
You will already have some previous office management, administrative experience in a similar corporate service or busy professional environment, and are looking for a fresh challenge and a varied role within a friendly supportive environment.
Knowledge of facilities/office management, including personnel management would is essential for the role.
